The Egg is looking for a smart, aspiring Business Development Manager or Executive to join our young, international team of online marketing professionals. We are open to the level for this role depending on the right candidate. The role includes day-to-day tasks of various aspects in client prospecting, such as following up with incoming leads, nurture and expand current client relationships and build a wide network within the industry through events and referrals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new leads, understanding their business challenges and adopting a consultative approach to scope out relevant digital solutions.
  • Coordinate with our regional offices on pitch proposals, strategy decks and submissions for tender bids based on client/project briefings.
  • Relationship Management - increase engagements and strengthen communications with existing clients
  • Work closely with Country and Project Managers on proposals, strategies and resources.
  • Maintain good relationships with other departments as well as clients.
  • Prepare weekly report and maintain healthy pipeline.
  • Stay up to date with latest digital trends.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or above
  • Minimum 3 years of business development, sales or client services working experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of digital marketing
  • Possess proven sales records – including pipeline generation and management, presenting, negotiation and closures
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to concurrently handle multiple projects within deadlines
  • Strong interest in media and digital marketing / web-related work
  • Native or business level spoken and written English
  • High or native level of spoken and written language skills in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean is an advantage
  • Willing to travel domestically and occasionally overseas
